Course: Toilet Training (Focus: Primary School/SPED)
Have you tried in vain to teach your child the proper toileting skills? Why don’t attend this course to get some useful methods and tips for toilet training to reduce some of your frustration. Proper toileting is a skill which is needed by all of us. We start to learn these skills as an infant and generally master them as a toddler. For individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder or autism, they require additional training and support to help them master this life-long skill.

Course Description
Attendance at this workshop will empower participants with the knowledge and skills to support their child’s toilet training. Participants will be instructed in the strategies and tools for developing an appropriate-level toilet training programme for their child with autism.
Participants in this training workshop will be exposed to “real-life” case examples which will focus on key issues in supporting a child with autism in the area of toilet training. Participants will also be exposed to tools and strategies that can be applied to effectively support their child to acquire toileting skills.
