Course: Teaching and Accomodating Handwriting Skills (Focus: EIP/SPED/Pri)
If you are a teacher, therapists or anyone who need to teach children with autism writing skills this will be the right course for you to attend.
Handwriting is a basic skill needed by almost all of us. Some individuals with autism may find it challenging to acquire handwriting skills due to difficulties in their motor co-ordination and/or sensory issues.

Course Description |
This workshop will present an overview of the issues and difficulties faced by individuals with autism in acquiring handwriting skills. In addition, participants will be exposed to strategies in teaching handwriting skills to individuals with autism as well as strategies to accommodate these individuals’ difficulties in acquiring handwriting skills.
